In
the last 20 years the band has accommodated small parties of 50
people to 750 ‘shearers and convicts’ singing and dancing
their way through a Woolshed evening. They have provided music with
an Australian character at such venues as “The Rocks”
Markets and Sydney Opera House forecourt and of course the demand
on Australia day at major venues such as Darling Harbour, Randwick
Racecourse, major hotels and pubs is always great.

The combined talents of Jackie Luke on Hammered Dulcimer, and Greg
Wilson on Celtic Harp gives Sydney duo Springtide a unique sound
which has been delighting audiences for nearly a decade.
The addition of bouzouki, accordian, concertina, whistle, and lilting
vocals make a truly individual mix.
A concert with Springtide might feature jigs and reels from French
Canada or Scotland, a harp solo by Turlough O'Carolan, a Greek song
accompanied by harp, or a song by a contemporary Australian songwriter
arranged for bouzouki and accordian.
The breadth of Springtide's repertoire means that the duo has wide
appeal and is suitable for many different occasions, including weddings,
theme concerts, festivals, folk clubs, and restaurants.
