Review of "On the Verandah"

"This is the best collection of Australian folk music I have heard in a dog's age. It embraces the best of our Australian traditions and heritage; and does so with joy, exuberance and pride... Every patriotic Australian needs to own this CD. Every Australian heart needs to hear it. Real Australian music presented by real Australian artists."

200th Birthday Bush Bash - 4 July 2009 at Concord RSL

What do you do when 4 people all turn 50 within 5 – 6 months of each other? You hold a 200th birthday bush bash and hire the Inland Navigators to provide a wonderfully musical and energetic evening. The vision was to have a party where 7 year olds and 70 olds could dance together and this was what we got in bucketfuls. There was so much dancing by so many that we wondered why we were worried that only the few diehards who dance at the drop of a hat would dance.

We put it down to the magic of the Inland Navigators. As they fiddle, strum and sing feet start tapping, hands start clapping, eyes meet across the room and then it is on for young and old as the caller calls for the dancers to take their places. Book the inland navigators for your function whatever it is and then invite everyone you know because you will all have had terrific time by the end of the night. We look forward to when we can next dance to the sound of the Inland Navigators.

World Masters Rowers Bush Dance

Rowing NSW would like to thank the Inland Navigators for bringing a dash of Australiana and brilliantly entertaining 800 competitors from both Australia and overseas during the 2009 World Masters Games. I’ve never seen 800 people doing the barn dance at the same time – it was a sight for sore eyes! Job well done and we’d definitely book you again should the occasion arise.

Wedding December 2008

My new Husband and I would like to thank you for doing such a brilliant job at our wedding on the 29th of December. We and all our guests had so much fun. You guys played so well, and interacted so well with us all. Singing the last song in Dutch was wonderful, a huge surprise! If you ever need a reference for any gigs we will happily spread the word about how fantastic you were! Thank you Thank you Thank you.

RYLA Bush Dance

"Awesome... the band was really good. So was the dancing. It was a great way to get the team closer..."

"The most fun I've had at RYLA so far."

"A great way to finish the night and the Inland Navigators were great."

"Fun and entertaining... a great chance to explore something new with new people... the musicians were fantastic."

Thank you for once again an amazing bush dance at RYLA this year... The Inland Navigators continue to be the highlight of the week for our awardees. They love the bush dances and at such an early stage of the week it gives them a great way to leave behind their inhibitions and have a bit of fun with everyone.  And the staff love experiencing it over and over each year.

Please pass our thanks on to your band members and I do hope you are able to join us again next year for some more fun and experiences at Blue Gum Lodge.  Until then, we look forward to keeping in touch and wish you and your band all the best of luck for the upcoming year.
All the best,
Melissa Kenney and Mark Capizzi
